Fashion against Human Trafficking: Shop for a good cause!

Have you ever thought that it would be great if you can help others, support a good cause  and help fighting a serious problem, while buying something you love, like makeup? Now, you can do that.

January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month and my friends from Radiant Cosmetics started a campaign “Kissing Slavery Goodbye”. For every lipstick purchased, they will make a donation on your behalf to a survivor or current victim of trafficking.

“Human trafficking is modern-day slavery where people profit from the control and exploitation of others. Human trafficking is considered to be one of the fastest growing criminal industries in the world, second only to drug dealing, which it’s expected to surpass in the next two years. The United Nations estimates that 27 million people are trafficked annually.”

I advice you to read the story about Radiant’s beginning, about their mission, goals, what they believe in and how hard they are trying to make a difference. Find out more visiting their website, join them on FacebookTwitter, Instagram, wherever you like.

Share with your friends about this campaign and help gain more awareness about this problem. Make a difference;)
