It’s no secret how much I love jewelry (as every girl, right?) and one of my new year’s resolutions is to invest in more quality pieces instead of on quantity. I know, the idea of having a huge jewelry collection might be tempting, but in fact isn’t it better to have pieces that would last forever? And as we all know only the really good investments are paying off. And what’s better than diamonds?
While I was trying to find the perfect diamond piece of jewelry, I found Anjolee. Anjolee is a high-end fine jewelry manufacturer with a huge variety of diamond jewelry, such as bangle bracelets, diamond rings and necklaces – at the best possible prices. The best part is that they are offering a customizable jewelry. You can choose everything you’d like – meaning you will have a perfect piece, designed specifically for you.
When did you realize that you want to become a jewelry designer?
I realized I wanted to be a designer the day my uncle gave me my favorite butterfly ring. They were two butterflies intertwined, one was gold and the other platinum. The design was so beautiful and unique that I decided I should try my hand at creating such artistic beauty.
What matters to you most as a designer?
As a designer you want to make sure that the vision and message that you pour into your designs are understood and appreciated. I don’t like to create jewelry just for the sake of selling and making a profit. I like there to be a story behind the design or perhaps something that will put a smile on someone’s face, just like that butterfly ring did for me. It made me happy, as silly as that may sound!
What do you love most about designing jewelry?
I love the creativity that goes into it, hands down. There are so many beautiful pieces of jewelry around and as a designer you are always looking for new ways to stand apart from the rest, to create something that hasn’t been seen before, and its tough, but it is also fulfilling when you do come up with a design that you are proud of.
How do you find your inspiration?
As cliche as this may sound anywhere and everywhere! There is so much beauty in this world and this field allows me to search for that beauty in every corner. I can cull inspiration from elements in nature, or an image I see, and even the way I feel at certain moment can inspire me to produce a design.
How long have you worked as a designer?
For five years.
What advice do you have for aspiring jewelry designers who would love to be a part of Anjolee’s design team?
Get ready to be a part of a wonderful hard-working team.
